  A calendar of events sponsored by hunts or of interest to foxhunters (hunter paces, point-to-points, etc.)

• British Government Foxhunting Inquiry
  Foxhunting is under serious attack in Britain, and this official British government site details the status of the inquiry into whether it should be banned. Take note of it. Unfortunately, fads and frenzies so while this applies only to Britain, there is always the danger of it spreading to other places. The official inquiry has been completed, so this site is no longer accepting input, but it's still worth looking at to get an accurate report on the actual status, since much of the information available in the media has been slanted.

• Open Directory - Foxhunting
  Probably the best directory of foxhunting links you'll find anywhere. The Open Directory Project is a new approach to creating some semblance of order from the chaos of the World Wide Web. As the web grows and becomes more unwieldy, search engines yield hundreds of irrelevant results, and commercial directories become woefully outdated. ODP's goal is to provide a comprehensive, current directory by relying on an army of dedicated volunteer editors, each of whom is editing a category which interests him/her.

  The Cape Hunt follows a long tradition of riding to hounds in the Cape, going back over a 180 years. The Cape Hunt holds the distinction of being the oldest of the 'new world' hunts dating back to 1822.

• Clear Creek Beagles
  They don't chase foxes, and they don't ride horses, so how did a beagle pack sneak in here? Well, they're in Kentucky (Crestwood, near Louisville), and I've had the pleasure of hunting with them when they visit this part of the state. • Fort Leavenworth Hunt
  A military hunt, hunting on Ft. Leavenworth and in the Easton, Kansas vicinity. Organized in 1929 by the 10th Cavalry Regiment, disbanded during WW II, reconstituted in 1964, registered with the MFHA in 1965, and recognized by the MFHA in 1966. • Equestrian Land Conservation Resource
  CR is a national voice for a united equestrian land conservation movement, which promotes the protection of open land and provides information to concerned individuals who wish to maintain access to land for riding and driving. While this is not specifically a hunting-related organization, foxhunting obviously requires large parcels of open land, even more so than many other equestrian sports, so CR and their goals should be supported by all foxhunters.

• Masters of Foxhounds Association (USA)
  Governing body of recognized fox, coyote and drag hunting in the USA and Canada. Includes information on the sport and its history, as well as the official MFHA foxhound stud book, hound shows, publications, and charitable foundations.

  This site contains the most comprehensive information available anywhere on horsemanship safety and legal liability.
