Wild Animals – Information and Images
Raising Wildlife Awareness
Wild Animal Info is a website by Animalinfo Publications dedicated to raising awareness of the beauty and fragility of the animal world. Animalinfo Publications was founded in 2007 by Diana Andersen, a professional photographer and designer with a passion for wildlife and education. Diana has also spent much of her life working with animals as a zookeeper and wildlife carer and is a published author.
The key to preserving wildlife is to draw attention to the uniqueness and beauty of all the animals that share our lives. We need to instil a sense of loss to future generations should these animals become extinct through the loss of habitat, or one of the many other threats that face so many of our species. Connecting with wildlife on a personal level helps to motivate people to make better choices in their dealings with nature. Our stories and images share the beauty of wildlife and promote the value of preserving it.
The preservation of wildlife begins in our backyards by encouraging suburban wildlife and dealing with injured wildlife correctly. Read our articles on wildlife rescue, conservation and ethical wildlife tourism that benefits rather than harms or exploits wildlife.
Animalinfo Publications also supports several wildlife rescue and conservation initiatives through print sales. Learn more about the rescues and projects we support. If you choose to purchase a fundraising print, we will donate 50% to the organisation of your choice at the checkout. You will receive a certificate of support along with your signed fine art print.
